pardon me for not updating my blog frequently. you see, i am a super lazy blogger who refuses to update her daily lifestyle everyday lol.
so i should say, the past week was a great one.
firstly, dad came back for a few days for the new year. when dad's back=more family outings! okay i sounded like a deprived kid stuck at home when my dad's not in singapore. haha sadly, my dad went back on the 5th. oh wells, but other than that, during the period when my dad's back, i did two happy things:
1) sent my laptop for reformatting! as some of you all know, my super tiny/small/silverish/pathetic/*includes appropriate descriptive words here* laptop was a well-known lagging laptop, that took 15 mins just to start up for example. so after the reformatting, it's like super fast now! at least it doesnt need to take 15 mins to start up(: if you minus the fact that i've to redownload everything again like ms office. -.-
2) i finally bought my b40 lyre mouthpiece and rovner ligature! not forgetting, i finally know how to go to bandworld, the shortcut that is. so now i wont sound so pathetic playing on my plastic instrument with the super duper nice mouthpiece and ligature. :D
there were more activities going on after that, but no photos at the moment, cuz they're all scattered everywhere.
so on tuesday 6th jan, went to eat sakae buffet (omg like finally!) and watch ponyo with the ahhem unemployed spurts, and 2 employed spurts who came after their work. lol. it was great cuz we were like gossipping freely at sakae, and going crazy after the ponyo movie, singing the ponyo theme song. HAHA. not forgetting, that day was meh/mrs siao's birthday! HAPPY SWEET NINETEEN! this is like the 3rd time i wished her, and like what i've been saying, 19 is like so olddddddd, considering the fact that i just turned 18 months ago. LOL.
well, siying decided to do something worthwhile before she had to be stuck at jurong for the next two months. so we decided to meet up with the unemployed spurts once again on wednesday 7th jan, to go back to tk to eat cheapo food + supposingly visit our teachers + visit the band + gossip. went back to 4/4 classroom and just sat there to chill and talk about our interesting encounters in that classroom 3 years ago, not forgetting leaving a legacy (like always) on the whiteboard. 4/4'06. omg we seemed so old sia, now is already 09. haha. after that decided to visit our various sections. audrey and i felt super bad for not helping to guide our juniors, cuz we just simply sat at the back of the classroom and view their sectional-ing process, unlike the perc spurts. lol. all i could say is that, the clarinet section was great! :D and i really miss playing in the tk clarinet section loads. so after that, there was a 'commotion' trying to escape without being spotted (well the percs did it haha), and after that went to videoworld to gossip. seriously, i think my batch was the only batch who would go to videoworld after band pracs last time, just to gossip and watch random tv shows. HAHA. is that the reason why......? HAHA anw great day with the unemployed spurts.
last but not least, friday was timbre night with the eighers! before that, went to my cousin's house to get the ms office cd, and then met up with lingmei and hong at tm to get their sso concert tickets, which was fully booked alr. HAHA. after that, off to raffles place, met up with cheeri, and waited with her at the timbre place for like 3 hours! OMG super long, and we were all getting tired and hungry. of course, the rest of the eighters came in between to take over us. lol. timbre was great! had sakura and pizzas, and seafood platters and spicy chicken wings! yum. and we celebrated meh's birthday with this super duper nice cake. lol of course took loads of photos, and they're with laochang, meh and ahsoh. overall, it was a great night with the eighters! :D 2/8'04, look it's 04 leh, and now is 09, HAHA old us.
other than doing those activities, i spend my time watching xiao niang re, reading twilight, and also sending loads of job applications to various companies, but sadly none of them replied. i just sent four today, i seriously hope they will reply me sooooooooon. i want to be employed, and join the employed spurts group.
